17 Women to Know
Happy Women's History Month. Women's History Month is a celebration of women's contributions to history, culture, and society. Women’s History Month has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987. This month, per the theme, we celebrate "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion."
To celebrate women in our Clarksville community who personify Black excellence and this year’s theme, we’ve curated a list of AMAZING women we think you should get to know.
If we made a list of ALL the phenomenal Black women in this community that you should know, this list would probably never end. We hope that after reading our list, you will take the time to learn more about each of these women AND seek out other Black women in the community who are leading, serving, building, and moving Clarksville forward.
Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
