Clarksville Juneteenth Block Party
Hosted by Tiff Perkins & Black Clarksville, the Clarksville Juneteenth Block Party is an annual celebration of freedom day and Clarksville’s amazing black community. Located in the heart of Downtown Clarksville the event features a variety of vendors, performances, community organizations, and family friendly activities.
This year we added a new element to the event that was very well received by the community. In addition to our original event festivities we decided to add some family friendly and educational components to the event this year. As a partnership with local civic groups and non-profit we were able to provide bounce houses, games, and learning opportunities that taught about black culture, community, and history.
We are extremely appreciative of the community and all of the support that we received. Especially the support we received from the Montgomery County Title VI committee. Check out our recap video below.
